Dr Dan Benor (US)
Psychiatrist/psychotherapist, author, broadcaster. Daniel
J. Benor, M.D. is a wholistic psychiatrist. He practices psychotherapy,
transactional analysis, gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy as well as other
approaches. Dr. Benor has taught this spectrum of methods internationally
for 15 years to people involved in wholistic, intuitive, and spiritual
approaches to caring, health and personal development. He founded
The Doctor-Healer Network in England and America. After 10 years in
England he returned to work in Philadelphia and in Medford, New Jersey.
He founded Helios: Network for Whole Person Healing, a group of health
carers and alternative/ complementary therapists who give regular
saminars on how to develop integrated care - including conventional
medicine and psychotherapy combined with bodymind, biological energy
and spiritual awareness. Dr. Benor is the author of Healing Research,
Volumes I-IV and many articles on wholistic, spiritual healing. He
is a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Medicine
and on the advisory boards of the journals, Alternative Therapies
in Health and Medicine, Subtle Energies (ISSSEEM), Frontier Sciences,
on the Board of Directors of ISSSEEM, and the Advisory Council of
the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychotherapy (ACEP)

Prof Merrijoy Kelner (Canada) University of Toronto,
medical sociologist, researcher, advisor on CAM to Federal Government. Merrijoy
Kelner is Professor Emerita at the University of Toronto. She is a medical
sociologist who has been doing research on complementary and alternative
medicine for over two decades. Since being lead author on a book about
chiropractic in Canada in 1980, she has supervised numerous students doing
research on complementary and alternative health and has been the principal
investigator in several funded studies in this area. Recently, she was a senior
editor of Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Challenge and Change
(Amsterdam, Harwood Academic Publishers, 2000). She is also a founding member of
the Advisory Group on Complementary and Alternative Health Care which advises
the federal Minister of Health in Canada
